Pangeran Harry adik dari Pangeran William disebut telat mengetahui kabar sang nenek Ratu Elizabeth II telah meninggal dunia.

Mengutip Page Six, seorang sumber yang merupakan petinggi kerajaan menyebut tidak ada satu pun orang dari keluarga dan staf yang menghubungi suami Meghan Markle itu.

Pangeran Harry pun mendapatkan kabar dari media online saat mendarat di Skotlandia menuju Balmoral pada 8 September sore waktu setempat.

Media Daily Mail juga menyebut Pangeran Harry adalah anggota keluarga kerajaan terakhir yang mengetahui Ratu Elizabeth II meninggal dunia, bahkan Perdana Menteri Inggris Liz Truss mengetahui kabar itu terlebih dulu.

Atas tersebarnya isu itu, Juru Bicara Raja Charles III langsung memberikan bantahan.

Pihak istana menyebut seluruh anggota keluarga kerjaan sudah diinformasikan soal kematian sang ratu terlebih dulu.

"Publik hanya diberitahu setelah setiap anggota keluarga telah diinformasikan," kata jubir, Senin (19/9).
